Information Information

Headache diary that allows factors linked to the onset of headaches or migraines to be recorded. Details that can be recorded include date and time, duration, type of headache, location of pain (severity), known triggers, the effects of the headache on the user’s daily routine, the medication taken, and the responses to it. The charts, which summarise a historical list of headaches by severity, can be exported into Excel. The ‘Pro’ version holds more features and charts than the ‘Lite’ version, is more customisable, has automatic back up, and contains no advertisements. The ‘Lite’ version is limited to 10 entries, and thus can be said to function mainly as an introduction to the ‘Pro’ version. (The ‘Pro’ version is one of the three highest-scoring headache apps assessed in Huguet; Hundert; McGrath; Stinson; and Wheaton, ‘Commercially-available mobile-phone headache diary apps: a systematic review’, JMIR Mhealth and Uhealth, Aug 19th 2014; 2(3): e36.)
