In the app, you can view the current UV index for 20,000 different locations at home and abroad, and you can get automatic reminders when today’s UV index in your favourite city is 3 or more. … Since the UV index can vary greatly from east to west, one can (as something new) check the UV index at a specific location. You can either choose your favourite location (such as a place where you live), or use the built-in GPS.
