Reviews

Reviewer: Lonepack, the Indian NGO which developed the app
Review: “Lonepack is a free online peer support system intended to provide an accessible safe space for all. Once you ‘Sign Up’, you can chat with any of our trained volunteers on any topic that is causing you distress While our listeners are trained to manage various situations, kindly remember that they are not ‘fully trained mental health professionals’, and no suggestions or recommendations from them can be treated as ‘medical advice’… You can talk about any situation or experience that is causing mental or emotional distress with our volunteers, including but not limited to - loneliness, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual orientation, depression etc…The key aim for LonePack buddy is to be a reliable way for people to find safe and non-judgmental safe spaces via peer to peer support systems. We do not intend on replacing professional mental health care but rather think of it as “First Aid” in the mental health context and would hope to be the bridge between the public and mental health professionals.”
