Summary

The app game is based on the critical role of mitochondria in the human body.
It is an outer space adventure demonstrating the role of mitochondria in the body, and the impact of mitochondrial disease.
Demonstrating the role of healthy mitochondria, the player’s mission is to restore power to galaxies representing different parts of the body, for example muscles and eyes.
The app also plays out the impact of Reactive Oxygen Species that can damage cells, leading to disease or death.
In the game, the player has to stop the Reactive Oxygen Species and restore power to the `Mitoverse’ or body.
