People with CRS can also choose to use the app to:
. share results with their clinicians
. share anonymised, coded data with EUFOREA to gain insights into the experiences of patients with chronic sinusitis, and effectiveness of current treatments.
The app was developed with patient input by EUFOREA (European forum for research and education in allergy and airway diseases), whose activities include advocacy for patients with Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CRS).
Thereby the patient might be better adherent to therapy and as such have improved disease control by using the app. In addition, the app contains an educational platform with information about the disease, diagnosis and treatment. This will increase awareness of the patient about their disease, which might also contribute to compliance to therapy.”
