Summary

The prompt app is supported by two patient organisations:
. Headway, the brain injury association
. The Alzheimer’s Society.

It was developed and tested with the help of people living with early dementia and brain injury, their carers and clinical experts.
The app is a visual diary with images of people and places. It links photos, videos and shared histories to reminders, which helps people prepare for each day and boosts their confidence.

It helps people with memory loss to:
. Build reminders and visual prompts with photos of people and places
. Add details about family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and places visited.
. Search their personalised memory store by asking prompt questions

. The app was a finalist for AXA PPP’s Health Tech and You award 2017.
