Review: "In the event of a health crisis the Crisis Card mobile phone app provides a one-button-press ‘call for help’, so you can reach out to your support network without having to face a phone call, you can communicate your needs without having to talk, and share your location without having to know it yourself. The Crisis Card app also supports you in managing your health and wellbeing by providing information and signposting to the relevant resources available. For daily use the app provides an area to easily record and track your state of wellbeing over time."

Review: In 2013 the app was successfully developed into a mobile phone app for Android and Apple phones, out of an idea used by one individual to get support from neighbours for their mental health. This person used a traffic light system in their window to tell their neighbours how they were feeling that day. Green was good, amber was not so good and could do with a friendly call and red was for a crisis, get help now.The phone app uses the traffic light system so you can record how you are feeling that day. If you record an amber or red, then you can send a message to a person you choose, to tell them you need help. You can decide who you send the message to and what the person should do when they get your message. You don't need to talk to anyone to do this. You don't need to know where you are as the phone will tell your nominated person.
