Summary

Smoking-cessation app. Offers advice on quitting smoking. Records and displays the amount of money (in Pounds sterling or US dollars) that the user has saved by not smoking, the number of days the user has remained smoke free, and the number of cigarettes that would otherwise have been smoked. Provides information on the user's energy levels, information on the condition of the user's circulatory system, and on the user's potential respiratory problems. A 'diary' function encourages the user to record simple smoke-related personal facts (for instance, about cravings to smoke). The anonymised diary details are intended to be transmitted to the developer, as part of his Ph.D studies at the University of London (users can opt out of participation).

Review:

“The Smoke Free app is awesome. I just downloaded it couple of days ago, and it has been so helpful.” “I used this app as well, it was super helpful. The missions stop at 30 (or 31), but you continue to get badges, and it will keep asking you to write in the little diary they give you. It’s a really good way to stay focused on your goal, and all the little gifs they give you when you complete a task are pretty entertaining too.”
