Self-monitoring

Information
Summary
Allows the user to check their own medical symptoms (or those of a person for whom they are caring). Symptoms can be identified by working through and selecting from a range of choices and questions. Advice on what to do next will be provided (whether seeking further medical care from a medical professional or hospital, or carrying out a regime of self care). If self care is recommended, the app will provide instructions on how to do so. The advice will saved on the device to be used if needed again. People with symptoms that indicate the need for professional help will receive a phone call from a health-service operative within an hour (and the user can also choose to make such a phone call themselves at no cost). The app is designed to be operated by users based in England only.
