Summary
Allows the user to receive a live video consultation with their own, or another, general practitioner. The user can be referred to another doctor (general practitioner or specialist). Other services include counseling, prescriptions, and lab requisitions. A care plan is created, recording the user's healthcare interactions with Medeo. Patients can use Medeo on Facebook to connect with other patients. Older people can choose to access medeo through the Clarice Companion, a tablet designed for oldwer people's healthcare needs. The Medeo app is free to download, but its services are only available for free to patients in British Columbia who have the appropriate medical coverage (Medical Services Plan). Other patients need to pay by credit card for their e-consultation.

Reviewer: Person living with a mental health problem, Canada
Review: "I can use it on my computer, and connect with a doctor via videochat. Convenient to use, better than sitting in a waiting room. I can use Facebook to connect with others who have the same illnesses as me."
