Summary

Identifies a list of toys, each of which is potentially suitable to be matched to the ability level and age of children with cerebral palsy (CP). The aim is to provide the child with toys and activities that are goal-directed for upper-limb therapy, and can help the child acquire new motor skills and learning. In addition, the app offers individual upper-limb therapy programmes for children with cerebral palsy. Many of the toys listed by the app are available across the world, but all can be found in Australia (prices of designated toys are in Australian dollars). The app is only available on iphone and ipad.

Review: “Attention all parents of kids with cerebral palsy (CP), and therapists. Brian Hoare (occupational therapist at Monash Hospital) has launched his free new app. It matches toys with upper-limb goals. This will save us hours and hours of searching online and in store for the correct toys. Please show your support by downloading.”
